1 midterm tomorrow, 2 (back-to-back) midterms and lab Tuesday, most likely physics quiz Wednesday, and comp sci HW due Friday (pushed back from Wednesday, thank god).
Well, it’s going to be a busy week. 🙁 But at least there’s spring break to look forward to…
Look’s like I’m sick again. Or kind of sick anyway. It’s like a cough that never goes away completely (though I think I’ve got a good idea why). But I really should be taking better care of my body, honestly, I swear I have like the weakest immune system in the world, and the constantly fluctuating temperature here in the Philly/Jersey area doesn’t help things at all. But what’s done is done. The only things I can do now are: (1) drink lots of water, (2) eat more cough drops, (3) drink more water, (4) relax, and (5) go to sleep at a reasonable hour.

Ah, it’s snowing again. I don’t think I’ve seen this much snow since I left Michigan. But after two consecutive snow days last week, I don’t think I can stand another one (but it won’t happen, most likely).
Although this is kind of random, watching the snow fall reminded me of my Modern Thought and Literature class during my fall semester senior year at Lawrenceville. After digging around my computer, I finally found my original story that I wrote in the “stream of consciousness” style. It’s pretty aptly called “Snowflakes” — anyway, reading it again really did bring back some memories. I’m attaching a copy below. STORY: Snowflakes
Wow, it’s the first snow day I’ve had in a while. I might have had one snow day during my three years at Lawrenceville (hard to make a case to cancel school when the majority of students and faculty live on campus). Apparently Penn hasn’t had a snow day in over 10 years, so I guess I just got lucky :P. That being said, I just wasted the last two hours hour and a half playing random flash games on the internet…phew. Maybe I should do a little studying. Unfortunately, I still have 3 midterms at the end of the weak, and I don’t think the snow is going to get me out of those…
LaTeX! So after reinstalling LaTeX for about the 6th time in my life, I’ve finally put it to good use. From now on, I’m going to write up all my CIS160 HWs in LaTeX. For one, it looks much nicer than my handwriting, and two, it’s good practice.
In other news, I’ve gotten through 9 episodes of Chuck. It’s really good, and I’ll probably be watching a few more episodes after I finish my work tonight.
